Upon Knowing The Love Of A Woman -
------STANLEY GEMMELL, POEM

 Think to yourself
 how much you want
 to hold her hand

 Say to yourself
 the words opposite
you never wish her to hear

 Think clearly and level-headedly
about having and not having time

Realize that life is a coiled
 dragon

 Understand that you love her
because of how good she tastes

 Run with the jackals
 while the blood moon shines

 Rest with the rain

Kiss the rings she has made for you
when she cast her stone into the pool

The stone she cast was her despair
